Yesterday the artists behind the Stoet Haiti project rehearsed their charity song Skroebeligt Fundament for the Zulu Awards. Tonight the show will take place at Tap 1 and will be televised this Saturday on TV2.

In 2002 a young group consisting of the talented female singers Christina, Engelina and Ida became known to the Danish public by the name of "Sha Li Mar". As a replacement for "Zindy Kuku Boogaloo", the trio continued to provide the music on the primetime TV entertainment show "Venner for livet" (Friends forever) on TV2.

Named after the mystical flower garden at Taj Mahal, Shalimar proved, that this girlgroup was not just a "group of random girls". They blew the audience away by singing classic pop and rock songs with powerful vocals, great harmonies and a touch of class....

Here's a preview to the brandnew track "My Friend" by Global Deejays featuring Ida Corr, played at NRJ Austria.

Don't miss Ida Corr on TV tonight and in the coming days. Some European channels are going to broadcast the "European Border Breakers Awards 2010" from January, where Ida performed Let Me Think About It and a cover of a Charles Aznavour song. "Skroebeligt Fundament", the Haiti support song has made it to number 1 in the Danish charts: #1 iTunes, #1 Airplaycharts, most-selling physical single and most-selling ringtone. Sys Bjerre is surprised and very happy about this, as stated in a recent interview.
All artists who participated, including Ida Corr will perform the song at this year's Zulu Awards. The show will be taped at Tap 1 in Copenhagen on February 10th and will be televised on TV2 Zulu February 13th.

By the way: TV2 Zulu will also air a rerun of the Zulu Awards 2008 on February 10th, where Ida has presented an award.

DK4 (Danish TV) is going to broadcast a RARE footage of Ida Corr's 2005 concert from Aarhus (Train) this Tuesday at 20:40.
It's not possible for me to watch it, because I'm located in Germany. To all the Ida fans in Denmark: I would be so grateful if someone could record the show for me to DVD and send it over. In return I am willing to give you one of Ida Corr's first albums (which I've got twice).
